Jaisthotsab 1429
On 17th May, 2022 (2nd Jaistha, 1429) on the occasion of the 144th foundation day of the Sadharan Brahmo Samaj, a special service was held in Samaj prayer hall. At 6.00 pm kirtans were conducted by Sri Suman Majumdar. Divine service was conducted by Sri Sanjib Mukherjee and hymns were sung by Smt. Tania Ghosh, Sri Suman Majumdar, Smt. Shukla Sengupta and Sri Sandip Das.
On 18th May, 2022 (3rd Jaistha, 1429) a musical programme was organised on the occasion of the Birth Anniversary of Maharshi Debendranath Tagore. At 6.30 pm after a brief prayer offered by Sri Sourav De, the musical programme on Brahmosamgeet was started. The programme was conducted and performed by various members of “Sanskritiki – Kolkata”.

Adya Sraddha
Anuradha Chakraborty, daughter of Late Amiyo Kanti Chandra and Late Karuna Chandra and wife of Late Sudhangshu Chakraborty of Behela expired on 22nd April, 2022.
The Adya Sraddha ceremony of Late Anuradha Chakraborty was held on 2nd May, 2022 morning at her residence at 175/7, Becharam Chatterjee Road, Behela, Kolkata – 700061. Shri Tapabrata Brahmachari conducted the divine service and hymns were rendered by Shri Supratim Chakraborty, Smt. Mou Sengupta & Smt. Shampa Chakraborty. A short life-sketch of Late Anuradha Chakraborty was read out by her daughter-in-law Smt. Shampa Chakraborty. Sreeman Sreyam Chakraborty and Miss Trisha Chakraborty, grandson and granddaughter respectively of Late Anuradha Chakraborty paid homage to the departed soul.
